Support Sheridan

During this crisis, the Sheridan community is coming together to help each other.

Below are some relief efforts for local individuals and businesses in need.

The Hub on Smith serves the region’s senior population, offering them both community, meals, and other important resources.

The organization is currently delivering 300+ meals to seniors each week, as well as meals for the homeless and other vulnerable populations. Consider an online donation, particularly since the organization’s main fundraising event was cancelled this year.

The Wyoming Mining Association is hosting a virtual food drive to support the Food Bank of the Rockies. Every dollar raised becomes four meals or five pounds of food for hungry families, which are especially needed during the COVID-19 crisis.

Consider supporting our fellow citizens from around Wyoming in these tough times. Your online dontation is tax-deductible, and every dollar helps.

The Sheridan Press has served region since 1887, but its business is struggling in the current crisis.

Consider making a tax-deductible donation to the outlet’s fund for its business and staff, to help them keep the community informed.

The Sheridan Memorial Hospital is currently accepting donations of facemasks, to help guard its emergency workers against the spread of disease.

In addition, the hospital is seeking emergency healthcare volunteers.
