The Ramaco Research Rodeo (R3) brings together innovative carbon-related and critical mineral research and development from around the world. This year’s event was held July 11-13, and was themed on carbon innovation’s role in the emerging global energy transition.

Hosted in partnership with the Centre for Sustainable Carbon — a technology collaboration programme of the International Energy Agency — this year’s R3 broadened what’s already been hailed as a premier conference in this important climate area. It featured researchers from national labs, Department of Energy technology program managers, members of academia, and others working to innovate in the coal-to-products, carbon, and critical mineral spaces, as well as video appearances by U.S. Senators John Barrasso and Joe Manchin.
