Ramaco Carbon will provide Shuttle Bus Service to transport all participants to and from hotels to conference venue and all planned extracurricular events. Additional information will be available upon hotel registration.

Meals:

Ramaco Carbon will provide breakfast and lunch during the conference on July 12 & 13. Dinner with an open bar will be provided at the college on July 12 & 13. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.

Hotels

Ramaco Carbon has reserved blocks of rooms at the two locations below. Please mention you are coming for the Ramaco Research Conference when you make your reservation. All participants are expected to make their own accommodation arrangements.

If the hotel block is full, please call the second hotel. If you have issues with your reservation, please contact the conference staff at Ramaco Carbon (see information above).

Transportation to Sheridan

Sheridan is served by air transportation to both the Sheridan, Wyoming and Billings, Montana airports described below.

Billings Airport has the most flights, and is the most economical airport choice flying into the local area. The drive between Billings, MT is scenic and uncomplicated but is about a 2-hour drive.

Sheridan County Airport is a small regional airport served by connecting flights on United Air Express from Denver, Colorado. There are only a few daily flights which during the summer rodeo season fill quickly. 

United Express flights can be booked at united.com, the United Air app, or call United reservations at 800-UNITED1 (800 864-8332). There are also a few other regional airports in Casper, WY, Gillette, WY and Rapid City, SD.

Billings Airport is a larger airport with  connecting flights from several national airlines, and is located a two hour drive from Sheridan. We would suggest conference attendees arriving in Billings rent a car to Sheridan. Ramaco Carbon will also provide airport shuttles each day (morning and late evening) for those that are unable to rent a car. Rental car information can be found through the Billings Airport website.
